No place to hide for Tolka

Tolka Rovers head to the southside of the city looking to avoid becoming the latest Senior Division side to have their FAI Intermediate Cup scalp chopped off.

Division 1 side TEK United await the top flight outfit as these pair go at it for a second time following their 2-2 draw at Frank Cooke Park a fortnight ago.

Rovers' disappointment at not getting the job done at home will be matched by their trepidation for their trip to the tight and tidy confines of the Stradbrook pitch, which does not leave much room for manoeuvring.

Dumped

There will be no place to hide for the Tolka players, who will be looking to avoid becoming the 11th Senior Division side to be unceremoniously dumped from this season's competition.

Neither side is in great form. Both are lurking just above the relegation zone.

But tomorrow they can leave their league woes aside as they seek out a meeting with Blarney United in the last 16.

FAI Intermediate Cup

3rd Round replay

TEK UNITED v TOLKA ROVERS

This has all the hallmarks of being a classic cup tie. A top-flight side take on lower league underdogs on a tight and heavy pitch. Rovers were left stunned a fortnight ago when TEK came from behind to grab a draw and the replay. Now, Jason Kelly's side face into a tough battle at Stradbrook. There will be no hiding place tomorrow but Rovers can overcome this tricky away day.

Verdict: Tolka Rovers
