Mats Hummels switch looms as van Gaal makes plans for title push
Louis already down to business as Hummels switch moves closer
LOUIS Van Gaal will leave no stone unturned in his mission to make Manchester United great again and has been actively scouting new signings for months.
Names like Mats Hummels, Gareth Bale, Memphis Depay and Kevin Strootman have been bouncing around the rumour mill for months as potential van Gaal signings.
Departing Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Hummels is mulling over offers, including one from Old Trafford, but van Gaal is not waiting around.
"We began in January because we have to prepare our pre-season and Manchester United will go to America," said Van Gaal.
"The aim is, of course, that we have to train and not only to play matches. Already for three or four months we are talking about our pre-season.
"We also think about the scouting of players, the scouting of our own players because we have a lot on loan and then we have to analyse their performances, so it's a lot of work.
"It's not only the present season but also what we have to decide for players (signings) next season."
