Lukaku eye on europe
The £75million man Romelu Lukaku has set himself a target of winning the Champions League with Manchester United after he completed his move to Old Trafford.
And the player who has just left United, Wayne Rooney, insists that he's also still hungry for trophies and claims his move back to Everton is not a case of heading into a retirement home.
United and Everton confirmed a deal was done for Lukaku, who knows what's required.
"I've been a pro for eight years and I have never had a taste of the Champions League group stages," the Belgian said.
"It's something I have always wanted, that competition has something, I want to see how it is and to have a taste. Now to have that opportunity and to challenge to win it is the best thing.
"You just know and realise how big the club is, and the hunger it has to win trophies."
Rooney insists he's also motivated. "I'm not coming back into a retirement home. I want to play and I want to win," he said.
"It's a challenge, and it is the right time in my career for it. With Ronald (Koeman's) ideas and the players the club is bringing in, it's on us to do well. We want to win trophies, but it's down to us as players to do that."
