Kyle Walker and Danny Rose can strike a deadly partnership for both Tottenham and England for many years to come, according to Hugo Lloris.

Rose capped an outstanding display with the winning goal as Spurs beat Burnley 2-1 on Sunday after Walker had earlier set up Dele Alli's equaliser.

It means the two full-backs have either scored or assisted eight of Tottenham's 29 Premier League goals this season.

They have also contributed to the team's mean defence, which has conceded only 12 times in 17 games - the second best total in the division.

"They can be important for Tottenham and for the England national team too," Lloris said. "They are still young. If they keep working hard I would not be surprised if they had a great international career and they will help the club achieve great things as well."
