Jurgen Klopp wants his players to grab a golden opportunity with both hands at Anfield tonight and win a place in the Europa League final.

Trailing Villarreal by a single goal, Liverpool are within touching distance of Euro glory and a bonus Champions League entry which comes with it.

"We are ready. All we did since October we did to be perfectly prepared for a game like this," he said.

"This game is a big opportunity in a difficult season for LFC. In October LFC changed manager. Something went wrong before then. This team is building up consistency, step by step. I don't know how far we are on our way. This team, these players gave me very positive signs about their quality."

"These moments when you really know we're all together. Not only the crowd in the stadium-at home too. I don't want to make it too big, but it's a moment for the whole Liverpool world. Everyone will watch it."

"Spanish football is really impressive. Combine really good players with good tactical advice from outside," Klopp continues. "Clever enough, dirty enough in the right moments to involve time-wasting."

Fit again Emre Can is back in the running for selection and Klopp is contemplating a starting role for Daniel Sturridge.

"I was waiting for this question. He could be, 100%, but I've made no decision yet about the line-up. In all these thoughts, Daniel Sturridge is absolutely involved," said Klopp.
