Kane's 'can do' attitude great for Leinster
There is "a massive possibility" Kane Douglas will make his Leinster debut against Cardiff Blues on Friday night, according to coach Matt O'Connor.
"He's had a couple of weeks off after the Super rugby season. He's quite fresh and keen and looking forward to getting involved," voiced O'Connor.
"He trains today and we'll try and bring him up to speed with the bits and pieces of detail in our game. We'll see how he goes. He arrived on Friday. He's over the jet lag and keen to get into it".
Leinster flanker Dominic Ryan was taken with Douglas's presence and his sponge-like ability to absorb information and put it to good use on his first day at training.
"He just arrived in this morning (Monday). We did a lineout walk through there and you can really see his class as an international second row in how quickly he picked up everything," said Ryan.
"He made two or three mistakes in the whole session when you've got a lineout menu with 50 or 60 calls. He pretty much nailed it all which is very impressive".
