A LARGE turnout of Cabinteely coaches last weekend, despite the inclement weather, enjoyed a coaching course hosted by Austin Speight, Director of Coaching for Coerver UK & Ireland.

Speight, who took in the clubs younger members in the school of excellence earlier that morning and was impressed overall, was assisted by a mixture of the clubs U11's, and by all accounts it was an enjoyable two hour work out in Kilboggett Park.

Coerver coaching is a skill-based programme that produces better players technically, and has been part of the fundamental way that we teach players from the age of five.

Further details and notes from the session are available from FSC chairman Gavin Teehan, and you can contact him on email at cabocoaching@gmail.com
