NOTICEBOARD

A referee's beginner's course will take place at Newbridge Town FC on Saturday 15th. May. Registration is at 9.30am and those interested in taking part in the course should contact Liam Murphy at 087-8535939 or JP Kelly at 086-8098001.

Midweek fixtures will commence on Wednesday 12th May. These are fixtures that were not played on the appointed Sunday, during the first six series of fixtures. There will be no cancellations of these games. Should a club have a difficulty in fulfilling the fixture on the appointed date the League with the agreement of the other side involved and subject to the availability of referees fix the game for another day in the same week.

All teams must submit match reports before 5pm on Sunday evening to kildarefootball@rocketmail.com or by telephone to 045-529559. These are necessary in order to produce copy for our main sponsor The Leinster Leader and also for The Star (Target Supplement Tuesday), The Evening Herald (Striker Supplement Monday). These three publications also carry a featured game each week which includes colour photographs of the game. It is therefore vitally important that detailed reports are submitted (preferably by email) no later than 5pm each Sunday. These reports should include details of all scores, including the time and build-up to the score. Your better players and their positions should also be mentioned in addition to any other points of interest such as top scorers, number of clean sheets kept etc.

All players must be registered not later than Friday in order to be eligible to play on Sunday next. Registrations, accompanied by the relevant fee should be sent to Mr Tom Stanley, Honorary Registrar KDFL, Apt 2 Willow Square, Primrose Gate, Hazelhatch Rd. Celbridge, Co Kildare. Clubs who do not register their players in accordance with rule and submit proof that they hold a valid Public Liability Policy will forfeit their fixtures.
