Jol expects Duff to stay at Cottage

MARTIN Jol has said he has no intention of letting Damien Duff go, even though the Dubliner is free to speak to other clubs next month as his current deal with the Cottagers expires in the summer.

The former Republic of Ireland winger (left) is among a number of Fulham stars with deals ending in the summer but Jol insists he is keen to add, rather than take away from his squad.

"We are not in a situation where we can do that (let players go)," he said. "With the other players (in the summer) we had to sell them because of clauses and other problems.

"But I would love to keep my players as it is. For next season it's another matter and we feel we will keep the players we want to keep."
