Jack Grealish makes his mark again but Villa come up short against Leicester
Jack Grealish got himself back in the spotlight again after he scored his first Premier League goal - only to finish on the losing side in a five-goal thriller.
Grealish, who turned 20 last week, had Aston Villa fans in high spirits when he struck to give them a 1-0 lead away to Leicester City.
However, Villa fell apart and ended up losing 3-2.
"I'm delighted for Jack to see him score but it's little consolation for me.
"He was delighted, which is good," said Villa boss Tim Sherwood.
On what was a bleak weekend for Irish players in England's top flight - only eight players eligible for the Republic started in the English top flight - Grealish's goal underlined his value at international level, with the midfielder again delaying a final decision on his allegiance.
Recently, England boss Roy Hodgson - who is keen to add Ireland Under 21 cap Grealish to the English fold - said it was time for the player to make a decision on his international fut ure.
