Guardiola lining up £100m swoop for Sane and Stones
Pep Guardiola is set to treble his spending with the signings of Leroy Sane and John Stones.
The Manchester City manager will splash out around £100m for two of his top targets.
Reports in Germany claim Sane has informed Schalke of his decision to join Guardiola's Etihad revolution - paving the way for a £42m move to the Etihad on a four-year deal.
Sane's decision comes after Stones told Everton that he wants to join City.
City have followed that up with a world record bid for a defender of £53m.
Everton were prepared to let the England international leave this summer if they received a bid in excess of £45m.
Manchester United, Barcelona and Chelsea were all interested in Stones - but his determination to work under Guardiola has put City in pole position.
Guardiola has so far made two major signings this summer in Ilkay Gundogan and Nolito.
They came in at a combined fee of just under £35m.
He could yet add another centre back this summer and wants to address both right back positions.
