Free agent Robbie ready for two more years
Robbie Keane is adamant he can play on for another two years before he moves into management.
But the former Ireland captain, who has been linked with clubs in England, the USA and Australia, is still in the dark over his next move and says it's a case of "watch this space".
Keane is the same age (36) as recent LA Galaxy team-mate Steven Gerrard but while Gerrard has decided to quit playing, Keane has no plans to hang up his boots.
"Robbie Keane is not finished yet, I can tell you that now, there are few more years of playing in me," he said last night.
"I have a few more years of playing and naturally, for me the progression is to go into management.
"I am excited for the next two years of playing, where that is you'll have to watch and see. It's exciting for me, a new challenge, I had six years here (LA) but it's time to move on, to keep me motivated, to keep wanting to score goals. I have always had that hunger and desire and these two years will be interesting."
Kevin Doyle's club Colorado Rapids, who beat Galaxy in the MLS play-offs, have been strongly linked with a move for Keane.
