Former Republic of Ireland star Clinton Morrison eyes up new deal with Exeter
FORMER Ireland striker Clinton Morrison wants to prove there's life in the old dog yet by earning a new contract with Exeter City.
Morrison, who turns 36 later this month, has been lining out in League Two for Exeter but he's out of contract and, having failed to score in 24 appearances, he's not guaranteed a new deal.
"If the opportunity came to sign, I would definitely sign," said Morrison.
"I still think I have got a lot to contribute. I have not had a pre-season. I have missed four or five months of this season, so I have not done what I have meant to, but if I can have a good pre-season then I think you will see a different Clinton. I am still at an age where I know I can do it."
