Dope test

HARRY REDKNAPP has poured scorn on Rafa Benitez and mocked the Spaniard's effort to carve a permanent position for himself at Stamford Bridge.

"He has walked into a squad of players there who are Champions League winners -- you've got a chance, haven't you," laughed Redknapp in advance of tonight's London derby date with Chelsea.

"You'd have to be a real dope to mess it up with that group of players... Eden Hazard, Juan Mata, Frank Lampard."

But Benitez, emboldened by decent Chelsea form since he took over the job, is getting ready to drop Fernando Torres, an action which ultimately brought the wrath of Roman Abramovich down upon Andre Villas Boas and Roberto Di Matteo in quick succession.

"We are trying to manage the team so when I can change Fernando I will do it," said Benitez. "He wants the team winning games and he understands that is the way so he will accept this."
