Coutinho's Red alert
Struggling Anfield side gear up for Chelsea clash
Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho says the Reds have to dust themselves down from their FA Cup disappointment and get back on track for tomorrow's key Premier League clash with Chelsea.
A miserable spell for Jurgen Klopp was extended on Saturday as the Reds lost 2-1 at home to Wolves in the FA Cup.
It was a third straight defeat for a Liverpool side who have managed just one win in eight games.
Out of both cup competitions, defeat to Chelsea at Anfield tomorrow night would leave Liverpool 13 points behind Antonio Conte's men and while the signing of Coutinho on a new deal last week was a boost, the playmaker is aware of the need to regroup.
"Yes, it was hugely disappointing (against Wolves) and we have to lift ourselves for Chelsea, that is very important," said Coutinho, now committed to a new five-year deal.
"We all left the dressing room feeling so disappointed because we lost again. It was very hard. We have another opportunity straight away to bounce back and it is a good opportunity, a big game against Chelsea."
Wolves' Irish star Matt Doherty said: "We deserved the win and now we don't fear anyone."
