Buckley: Pat's focus is not on Celtic reward

LIAM BUCKLEY has promised that his St Patrick's Athletic side will not be distracted from their Champions League battle with Legia Warsaw tonight by the prospect of taking on Celtic in the next round of the competition.

Pats have a chance of making it into a Dublin date with the Bhoys, possibly in the Aviva Stadium, after last week's 1-1 draw in Warsaw.

But for Buckley, it's all about tonight's home leg with Legia at Tallaght Stadium.

"If we get through we are playing Celtic, you could be playing in the Aviva when it's full, it would be fantastic," said Buckley.

"You can talk about it but then you have to park it. If we have any distractions we won't get through," added Buckley, insisting the pressure is on Legia and their boss Henning Berg.

"This is a massive game for them, they have to get through. But we are equally hungry get and we are in a good position."
