Bravo's blunders: City's calamity keeper
Here The Herald looks at the errors made by Pep Guardiola's number one, whose signing was in no small part due to his ability with the ball at his feet, and saw England's first choice Joe Hart join Torino on loan.
NOU CAMP CALAMITY
Bravo came out of his area and miscued a pass straight to Barcelona's Luis Suarez. Suarez immediately attempted a lob and Bravo's instinctive jump to handle the shot was only ever going to result in a red card, leaving City with 10 men.
DROPPING DERBY DRAMA
Guardiola gave Bravo, a £17million signing, his City debut in the derby against Manchester United at Old Trafford. With City 2-0 up he flapped at a free-kick and Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted before half-time.
Bravo might have seen red and conceded a penalty when he showed neat footwork to dribble away from Ibrahimovic before a heavy touch tempted Wayne Rooney to go for the ball. Bravo dived in, studs up, and was lucky to avoid a the concession of a spot-kick and a sending off.
The Chile goalkeeper left Real Sociedad and made his Barcelona debut in a pre-season friendly versus Serie A side Napoli in Geneva in 2014, but was at fault for the only goal. He fumbled a long-range shot from Napoli's Blerim Dzemaili in a 1-0 defeat.
During Chile's 2016 Copa America Centenario group clash, Miguel Camargo gave Panama a shock fifth minute lead. Defender Gary Demel gifted the ball to Panama and Camargo's swerving shot caught Bravo off guard. He should have saved it. Chile went on to win 4-2.
