Bohs stung by last-ditch Cork winner

STRUGGLING Bohemians were condemned to their second defeat in a row in agonising fashion at Turner's Cross, as they went down 1-0 to Cork City, thanks to a last-minute winner.

Danny Morrissey pounced in the 90th minute to ensure Bohs will spend another week rooted to the bottom of the Premier Division table.

Meanwhile, at Belfield, Derry City recovered from the EA Sports Cup semi-final defeat by Drogheda last Monday to comfortably beat UCD 3-1.

Rory Patterson grabbed a brace of goals between the 34th and 36th minutes to set the visitors on their way, while Samir Belhout pulled a goal back for the Students in the 55th minute.

But Michael Duffy hit Derry's third in the 60th minute to seal the win.

At United Park, Drogheda enjoyed at 3-0 win over Limerick, with goals from Declan O'Brien, Gavin Brennan and Ryan Brennan.
