Bell to cure title jitters against Celts

THE Senior Division title race may have a few twists and turns to play out after leaders Bluebell United slipped to an unexpected defeat on Wednesday.

The Bell have a chance for some instant redemption, though, when they take on Wayside Celtic in the morning.

On Wednesday, Malahide United provided some shock therapy at the Red Cow as the Gannon Park club picked three vital points from the 'Bell's wallet while playing with only ten men for the best part of the game.

The Celts are on the relegation critical list and could do with picking up a win and Peter Lennon's side will hope to take advantage of the Bell's title jitters.

Another shock defeat at the Red Cow for the home side will blow the title race right open. The Bell need to put those notions to rest tomorrow.

SENIOR DIVISION

UCD v GREYSTONES

BOTH need points to move away from the drop zone. Stones grabbed a point away to Tolka on Wednesday and have plenty of games to play catch up. College are running out of games and collecting points against sides in the same predicament are vital.

VERDICT: Draw

BLUEBELL UNITED v WAYSIDE CELTIC

THE Bell's unbeaten run ended at the unlucky 13th hurdle against Malahide. They have a chance tomorrow to prove that it was just a blip. VERDICT: Home win
