Balotelli blasts critics in online rant
Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has criticised his detractors in a video posted to his Instagram account.
The 24-year-old uploaded the clip, in which he appears to attack those who have questioned his performances at Anfield, on Tuesday evening.
Speaking directly into the camera, the Italian said: "Do you know me? Did you ever talk to me, personally? Do you know what I've been through in my life? You just saw me play football on the pitch so, man, shut up."
Balotelli (right) joined Liverpool from AC Milan for £16 million last August but has only managed four goals in 20 appearances across all competitions. He has scored just once in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have added a fixture against a Malaysian XI after the club's pre-season tour to Australia in July.
The 18-times English champions last played in Kuala Lumpur in 2011 and are one of the best supported Premier League sides in the soccer-obsessed Southeast Asian region.
"The national football governing body is truly honoured to host Liverpool once again and are excited by the upcoming fixture," Football Association of Malaysia general-secretary Hamidin Haji Mohd Amin said after announcing the July 24 fixture.
Liverpool will play Australian A-League sides Brisbane Roar on July 17 in Queensland and Adelaide United in South Australia on July 20.
