Celtic's Ladbrokes Premiership game away to Dundee was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The Dens Park pitch failed a 1.15pm inspection yesterday with the Tayside club's official Twitter account confirming the decision: "Tonight's match vs. Celtic has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch after a referee's pitch inspection."

Meanwhile, Aberdeen drew level with Celtic at the top of the table but missed the chance to take an outright lead with a disappointing 0-0 draw at home to Partick Thistle.

In a remarkable encounter at New Douglas Park, Inverness Caledonian Thistle came away with the points in a 4-3 win over Hamilton. Caley had been cruising with goals from midfielder Greg Tansey and Liam Polworth before Accies fought back to level through substitute Carlton Morris and defender Ziggy Gordon.

In the 88th minute Tansey restored the visitors' lead with another wonderful free-kick from distance but the home side raced up the park and levelled through substitute Christian Nade only to be sunk by Polworth's second powerful strike of the game.

Hearts enjoyed a 3-2 win over Dundee United while Motherwell beat St Johnstone 2-0.
