Ulster look to tame Scarlets

The Welsh club served up notice of their intentions with a headline making 16-10 win away to the champions Glasgow at Scotstoun before they return home to Parc Y Scarlets tomorrow.

They have lost just once there in the PRO12 League since St Stephen's Day 2013.

That said, Ulster are one of two clubs to extract the maximum five-point return from the first weekend.

The way they calmly, confidently swept The Ospreys away 28-6 bodes well for them before Les Kiss takes over at the end of the World Cup.

The Ulstermen will bring a healthy appetite for these away days to West Wales, having won three of their last six away games in the tournament.

It could just be that the psychological gremlins reside inside The Scarlets, who have won one of their last eight against Ulster.
