Terenure might just stop 'Rock's solid march to hat-trick of titles

BLACKROCK COLL v TERENURE COLL Donnybrook, Sunday (KO4.15)

IN contrast to the Senior Cup, the pre-competition favourites have made their way through the grind to finals day.

Neither has had it their own way as 'Rock had to rely on a last play converted try from Adam Thompson to thwart Belvedere in their semi-final.

'Nure have been pushed to the wire by both Castleknock College and Roscrea, their forwards taking a pounding from the latter in the semi-final to be battle hardened.

RATTLE

The 'Rock No 7 Michael McGagh and No 8 Liam McMahon are set fare for a rattle with the Terenure College duo of Conor Shenton and Patrick Heneghan.

It is in behind that the strengths of both are greatest, the Williamstown school led by their superb captain, centre Liam Turner.

The centre will face-off against the skilled Adam La Grue, central to his school's journey to Sunday's decider, with Sam Dardis a smooth moving threat from full-back.
