Props Healy and Moore face scans ahead of duel with Ulster
For Leinster to salvage their season, they will need all the things that have gone wrong to go right from here on in.
The PRO12 League champions will have to rediscover their strike-force-of-old and rely on the faltering of others, most likely The Ospreys or next-up Ulster.
The harvest of all 15 points will not guarantee anything other than a possible down-to-the-wire final weekend.
Now, coach Matt O'Connor (right) has added "scans to Cian Healy and Martin Moore" as two spokes in the wheel that must roll into and out of Ulster with four points.
The Australian has made it clear something has to change in the Player Welfare Management Programme for Leinster to compete on an equal footing in the PRO12.
"We've had access to our best blokes for 30 per cent of the season and the League table reflects that," he said.
"When we have our best blokes we're as good as anyone in Europe. And I think we showed that on Sunday."
The loss of Healy and/or Moore would be a blow.
The mere fact they are in scan territory suggests they will not be in Belfast on Friday night.
Already, Fergus McFadden (thumb) and Kane Douglas (back) have had their season ended and Shane Jennings has not yet overcome his return-to-play protocols.
