Ireland Clubs v Scotland Clubs, Donnybrook, tonight 7.0

Coach David O'Mahony introduces new caps John Ryan, Zach Farivarz and Killian Lett for the Ireland Clubs international side against Scotland, writes Des Berry.

Dolphin's Sam Cronin will captain the side, which includes six Leinster players: Blackrock's Farivarz and Paul Huntly, Clontarf's Daragh O'Shea and Killian Lett, Landowne's Matt Healy and St Mary's Hugh Hogan.

It is very difficult to make even an educated guestimate at what will be the likely outcome of this contest between two teams thrown together, with O'Mahony making a number of changes from the side that almost made a miraculous comeback against English Counties.

Verdict: Ireland

Ireland Clubs (v Scotland Clubs): D O'Shea (Clontarf), M Healy (Lansdowne), E Moloney (Dolphin), K Lett (Clontarf), S Kelly (Shannon); B Keeshan (Dolphin), S Cronin (Dolphin, capt) J Ryan (UCC), M Essex (Shannon), S Shawe (Ballymena), P Huntly (Blackrock), F Walsh (Shannon), H Hogan (St Mary's), Z Farivarz (Blackrock), F Cogan (Cork Con).
