Jenkins a doubt for Wales

Wales prop Gethin Jenkins looks set for a race against time to make Wales' Six Nations opener against Ireland in Dublin in two weeks time.

Jenkins went off six minutes before half-time as Cardiff reached the Heineken Cup quarter-finals with a 36-30 home win over Racing Metro.

"I think he has tweaked a ligament in his knee," said Blues backs coach Gareth Baber.

Wales coach Warren Gatland has already lost forwards Luke Charteris, Alun-Wyn Jones and Lloyd Burns, while fly-half Rhys Priestland and flanker Dan Lydiate both suffered injuries at the weekend.

Despite Jenkins' early exit, the Blues secured a last-eight berth thanks to wing Alex Cuthbert's try double, a Lloyd Williams score and 21 points from full-back Leigh Halfpenny.

Racing scored tries through Josh Matavesi and Sireli Bobo, No10 Jonathan Wisniewski hit three penalties, Francois Steyn two and Sebastien Descons a conversion and penalty.
