It's 20 years since he lined out for Ireland at the Rugby World Cup, but Neil Francis still can't watch some matches as he gets "so wound up", he admitted.

The former Ireland rugby player joined fellow INM rugby pundits Tony Ward, Mick Galwey, Vincent Hogan and Isa Nacewa at an exclusive INM Rugby World Cup 2015 launch last night.

The analysts predict that Ireland has a "real shot" in the competition but France could emerge as the real danger.

Leinster star and Kiwi Isa Nacewa revealed that it was only at the gripping end of the last Six Nations that New Zealand finally realised what a powerhouse Irish rugby is.

He said that was when the hairs finally stood up on the back of everyone's necks and they started to take notice.

Isa will be wearing his "Irish hat" during the World Cup.

Those present at the panel discussion in Dublin included CEO of INM Robert Pitt, editor-in-chief at INM Stephen Rae as well as group head of sports content Dave Courtney.

Guests included Senator Shane Ross, Marie Therese Campbell of the Marketing Institute of Ireland, and key marketing and advertising clients.

Mr Rae said last night's event at Lansdowne Rugby Club was about showcasing Independent News & Media as a key rugby brand on this island, with the best rugby writers.

INM has joined up with TV3 in an exclusive rights deal which will provide access to in-match clips, full access to official match highlights and post-match press conferences.

This deal gives access to Independent.ie readers for every game throughout Rugby World Cup 2015.

Independent.ie readers will have official video highlights after each match and clips as the action unfolds.

Geoff Lyons, group marketing director at INM, said the partnership will give readers the "ultimate experience in news and analysis".

The tournament kicks off tonight with host nation England taking on Fiji.
