Heaslip: We have to reach new level
Leinster have been tried with the challenge of stopping Toulon's march to an unprecedented hat-trick of European Cups, writes Des Berry.
"In two weeks' time, we have got to go to another level. That's what we talked about after the game," said Jamie Heaslip.
Leinster were away to Toulon in the quarter-final last year and they know they will have to make everything happen or they will be rolled over again.
"You can't sit back, with or without the ball," he said. "Last year, we were caught in that first 50 minutes of the game.
"We have to push it both in the league and in Europe this next few weeks."
Once again, Toulon put on show their undoubted clinical nature in taking the sting out of Wasps 32-18 with tries by centre Mathieu Bastareaud and second row Ali Williams at the Stade Felix Mayol yesterday.
Last year's runners-up Saracens sealed a dramatic 12-11 win at Jonny Sexton's Racing Metro to reach the other semi-final in St Etienne against Clermont, who dismantled Northampton 37-5 on Saturday.
