Ulster's Craig Gilroy produced the Try of the Year in this season's PRO12 League.

It happened out of nothing one night in The Kingspan. Three defenders left clutching stale air because of the blend of acceleration, balance and footwork.

It was a snapshot of what Gilroy can do and what he was expected to show from the moment the wing announced himself on the international stage with a stunning try on his debut against Argentina in November 2012.

In terms of the World Cu, he is playing catch-up rugby.

"I think I'm in really good form and I still have a lot to offer," he said.

The 23-year-old Gilroy will need all his pace as much in defence as in attack to cope with Glasgow's quick men tomorrow night.

"You saw (Stuart) Hogg, (Niko) Matawalu, (Tommy) Seymour, (Peter) Horne and (Richie) Vernon, even Finn Russell at ten, they're extremely good broken-field runners. We need to be on our toes defensively and take everything we can get from attack."
