Erasmus keeps the faith for tenacious Tigers

Munster's Director of Rugby Rassie Erasmus will find out what the Champions Cup is all about this afternoon.

The likeable South African has decided to put his faith in those who rewarded him at Thomond Park last week.

The Munster 15 is unchanged from that which whipped Leicester out-of-shape 38-0.

The only alteration is the promotion of loose-head James Cronin to the bench on the back of his two tries in the British & Irish Cup.

Half-backs Conor Murray and Tyler Bleyendaal are starting to look the part as a pair.

The chances are they will turn the right kind of ball into the right kind of profit through a masterful kicking game.

The problem may come in securing first-class possession against what is certain to be a fired-up, combustible set of Tigers.

The English club would do worse than to send Manu Tuilagi charging into the belly of Munster's midfield from their first cleanly won set-piece and pile in after him.

They have to do something to send out a message of retribution.

Like Munster, the Welford Road faithful simply won't stand for a backward step being taken on home soil.

This one should be as spicy as it gets at this important time of the year.

Leicester: G Worth; P Betham, J Roberts, M Tuilagi, A Thompstone; O Williams, B Youngs; E Genge, T Youngs (capt), P Cilliers, E Slater, G Kitchener, L Hamilton, B O'Connor, L McCaffrey.

Munster: S Zebo; D Sweetnam, J Taute, R Scannell, K Earls; T Bleyendaal, C Murray; D Kilcoyne, N Scannell, J Ryan, D Ryan, B Holland, P O'Mahony (capt), T O'Donnell, CJ Stander.

Verdict: Munster
