Connacht can paint Glasgow green with vital win

Glasgow lost their 20-match unbeaten sequence here at Scotstoun to The Scarlets and they will start all over again against Connacht tonight.

Coach Gregor Townsend will have them eager to establish a new air of invincibility.

But, they are badly weakened by their World Cup brigade and do look vulnerable to outside interference.

There are holes all over the park in this Glasgow fifteen. The question is: can Connacht exploit the weaknesses in experience?

They should travel with confidence from securing their first four points against The Dragons (29-23).

But, Glasgow have won their last seven when these two have locked horns and they have not lost to The Westerners at home since September 2010.

They have in place a back row in Rob Harley, Chris Fusaro and Adam Ashe which will take a lot of containing.

These are the nights on which centre Bundee Aki and openside Nepia Fox-Mutuama can make all the difference.

Glasgow: G Bryce; J Bulumakau, P Murchie, F Lyle, L Jones; R Clegg, M Blair; A Allan, P MacArthur, M Cusack, S Cummings, K Low, R Harley, C Fusaro, A Ashe.

Connacht: T O'Halloran; D Poolman, R Parata, B Aki, M Healy; J Carty, J Cooney; D Buckley, T McCartney, R Ah You, Q Roux, A Browne, J Muldoon, N Fox-Matamua, E Masterson.

Verdict: Connacht
