Connacht braced to take backlash from Toulouse

YIKES! You wouldn't wish this on your worst enemy, travelling to the South of France to face a Toulouse side presumable chastened by their coach Guy Noves.

Having blunted Harlequins' best weapons at The Stoop, the French champions took the English Premiership leaders for granted at home and they paid a heavy price.

Suddenly, they have plummeted from number one seeds to one of three clubs, along with Harlequins and Gloucester, involved in an unnecessary scrap for qualification out of Pool Six.

They will seek nothing less than five points against Connacht who have lost four from four and are on a stinking run of 13 defeats in two competitions, including a 36-10 loss to Toulouse at The Sportsground.

Toulouse v Connacht, Stade Ernest Wallon, Saturday (KO 3.40 Irish time)

Verdict: Toulouse
