Ulster are beginning to show a ruthless edge that left The Dragons clutching for air at The Kingspan last night.

The capture of Jono Gibbes as their forwards coach is already paying dividends.

It was the domination of his pack that laid the platform for their back division.

The game was wrapped up on the back of four first-half tries from Stuart McCloskey, Peter Nelson, a penalty try and number eight Nick Timoney.

The entertainment kept on coming in the second period as prop Wiehahn Herbst took time out from the set-piece to crash over.

Impressive wing Jacob Stockdale was on the score-sheet before Timoney completed his double and another former Leinster man David Shanahan pounced for his try in what was a mesmeric display for attacking rugby form start to finish.
