Cian Healy believes Ireland can be World Cup wonders.

The second successive Six Nations championship and last November's impressive victories over South Africa and Australia have fuelled confidence.

Then, there is the influence of coach Joe Schmidt: "Under 'The Joe Show' and the attitude everyone has, I have no qualms in saying we'll be going into it to win it.

"There is nothing else in our mentality," said the prop.

"We've gone from strength to strength. Every player loves being in there. The environment is amazing. It made me really realise it coming back in for the Six Nations after missing the Autumn.

"You could see from being on the outside and then being back inside how everyone loves it and thrives on it," said Healy (pictured).

"In a team like that, with that attitude, being together under the guidance of Joe (Schmidt), Kissy (Les Kiss), Feeky (Greg Feek) and Simon (Easterby), you're going in the right direction.

"No one goes into a competition to lose it."
