DOUBLE: Fruit Pastille and Links Drive Lady.

FRUIT PASTILLE looks ripe for Listed honours in the 32Red/ebfstallions.com Fleur De Lys Fillies' Stakes at Lingfield.

Hughie Morrison's filly is in outstanding form, and can claim a fourth victory on the spin in this fast-track qualifier for All-Weather Championship Finals Day.

The daughter of Pastoral Pursuits began her winning spree over this one-mile trip in September, when she charged a length and a half clear of subsequent scorer Faure Island.

She then made short shrift of an inevitable big hike in the weights to take top spot at Wolverhampton, after which she was sent to Newmarket last week for her toughest test to date.

A rise in class was of no consequence, though, as Fruit Pastille scorched two lengths to the good in a strong class two handicap over a mile.

This is another step along the ladder, but she utterly deserves to pitch up in to this sort of grade given her rapidly progressive profile.

Her fondness of Lingfield's all-weather circuit - she has won twice from four starts at the Surrey venue - will also stand her in particularly good stead.

The other Listed race on the card, the 32Red.com/Choose EBF Nominated River Eden Fillies' Stakes, looks tough, but it could again pay to side with potential.

To that end, HIDDEN GOLD neatly fits the bill. The Shamardal filly is on a hat-trick, having hit the mark at Musselburgh and over a mile and a half at this track a few weeks ago.

That last victory was especially significant as she came with a power-packed surge from well off the pace, having at one stage looked out if it, to suggest this step up in trip by two furlongs would be ideal.

LINKS DRIVE LADY has already had a pretty good season and has been well placed to secure a third victory of the year in the £25 Free Bet At BetVictor.com Handicap at Kempton.

SUN CLOUD is often a worthy ally in big staying races over fences and can enjoy another good pay-day at Sedgefield.
