As they promised, the Macklin Gym in Marbella has become one of the busiest places in boxing.
First MGM added Derry Mathews and Iain Butcher to Tom Stalker, Bradley Saunders, Anthony Fitzgerald and Declan Geraghty on the books of manager Daniel Kinahan.
Then came news that the gym had tied up a sponsorship deal with iFL TV, a specialist online boxing resource.
Kugan Cassius from iFL TV said: "We can see the gym is thriving and adding to its talent."
This was before Eddie Hearn announced he was doing business with MGM and was kicking off a new season with Matthew Macklin headlining at the National Stadium on August 30 on a star-studded bill that includes Anthony Joshua.
Jamie Kavanagh announced this week that he too has joined MGM for management while still being promoted in the States by Golden Boy.
Kavanagh began his pro career in the States in 2010. In Boston last month the lightweight stopped Michael Clark to take his record to 17-1-1 (8 KOs).
He says: "I've had enough fights to be challenging for significant tiles and that's what I'm looking for. I'll train with MGM and also with trainer Joel Diaz."
With recent wins for Declan Geraghty and Anthony Fitzgerald, fight fans are waiting to see what's coming next from MGM.
High on list is the local middleweight grudge decider between Fitzgerald and Gary 'Spike' O'Sullivan at the Stadium on the Macklin bill next month.
Sky Sports will be screening the event so these two formidable Irish warriors are going to be in the shop window once again.
"Bring it on," says Dubliner Fitzgerald.
