Midleton defy Lance hype by staging Roche charity ride

The Tour of Ireland may have US rider Lance Armstrong heading here in August, but Midleton Cycling Club in Cork have gone one better, with Stephen Roche.
Midleton are pleased to present the inaugural Stephen Roche 'Tour de Cure' Charity Cycle Sportif on Saturday, May 9.
Roche will take part in the event, which is in aid of cancer research and diabetes awareness. The entry fee is €30 a rider. Visit www.stepehenrochetourdecure.com for the application form.
