Mercy must cancel Hotel to book place in showpiece

AFTER last night's men's fixtures, tonight will see the Women's Nivea SuperLeague take centre stage when reigning league and cup champions, UL Huskies, take on an eager but experienced WIT Wildcats.

After taking out Singleton SuperValu Brunnell to book their place in the semi-finals, the Limerick ladies are aware of the challenges Wildcats can create.

But the Waterford side's convincing win over Ulster Rockets has given them the confidence to challenge the defending champions.

Meanwhile, DCU Mercy will look to challenge Team Montenotte Hotel Cork as they battle to fill the final spot in the SuperLeague Cup finals.

Both DCU and Team Montenotte qualified at ease to the semi-finals after they saw off Liffey Celtics and Meteors respectively.

However, the growing rivalry between the two sides is sure to add more excitement to this game as each encounter between them has been neck and neck.
