Irish strong for English test

WILLIAM PORTERFIELD'S 200th game for Ireland will see him lead an experienced Ireland squad for their Royal-London One-Day International against England at Malahide on Friday May 8 (10.45).

The 30-year old is one of 13 players who featured in Ireland's recent World Cup squad in Australia and New Zealand. Tim Murtagh returns after a foot injury which caused him to miss the tournament, while Peter Chase and Max Sorensen are the players left out.
