'I want world titles more than boring Wladimir' -- Chisora
DERECK CHISORA has drawn confidence from what he views as Wladimir Klitschko's growing interest in his celebrity status over boxing.
Chisora will attempt to become Britain's second current world heavyweight champion when he challenges for the Ukrainian's IBF and WBO titles in Mannheim, Germany, on December 11.
The 26-year-old from north London starts as heavy underdog but has spied a chink in the armour of Klitschko, whose girlfriend, Hayden Panettiere, is a famous American actress.
"I'm going to cause a big upset. Wladimir has done it all but does he still want to stay at the top?" he said.
"I think he is staying at the top because of the publicity that boxing can give you, but not because of the boxing. I want it more than him now.
"Look at his last four or five fights, that will tell you a lot. He and his brother (Vitali) have made boxing very boring.
"Ask anyone, they will say they have made boxing boring. Come December 11 everyone will be talking about me."
A doubt hangs over the fight as Chisora is due in court next month for sentencing on theft and assault charges.
