O'Gara in the clear after biting claim
EOGHAN O'Gara will not face any disciplinary action over biting allegations from Sunday's Leinster Senior Football Final.
The Dublin camp were informed by Croke Park yesterday that the Central Competitions Controls Committee (CCCC) would not be recommending any ban after conducting an investigation into an incident mentioned in referee Padraig Hughes' match report.
Meath substitute Mickey Burke claimed he had been bitten during a melee in the 63rd minute of the match.
The CCCC concluded that insufficient evidence was available to charge any player, after Meath were unwilling to pursue their claim.
