Lucan have the calibre to lower Jude's

DUBLIN SFC GROUP 4

ST JUDE'S v LUCAN SARSFIELDS, Parnell Park, Tonight (6.45)

LUCAN made their first senior championship final last season. In the process, they banished a mountain of semi-final heartache.

They said, they were not coming to Donnycarney to listen to the band. And they were as good as their word.

They gave the mighty Boden a rattle on the big day. They'd love to return for more.

A draw here would guarantee their passage to the last eight. Jude's already have their seat.

Jude's have won two from two, defeating Crumlin by two points and Ballinteer by five points.

The Templeogue club possess one of the most exciting hurlers in the county in Fionn Ó Riain Broin. Paul Aylward, Ross O'Brien, Danny Sutcliffe (pictured, above) and Tom Devlin are also Tymon toppers.

Lucan drew their opening tie against Ballinteer before beating Crumlin. Matt McCaffrey excelled. Peter Kelly, Johnny McCaffrey, Chris Crummey and Tommy Somers inject calibre.

VERDICT: Lucan Sarsfields
