CONAL Keaney is a doubt for Saturday night's NFL clash with Monaghan in Parnell Park after picking up a hamstring injury - one of three Dublin players who suffered identical knocks in the 1-9 to 1-8 victory over Mayo in Castlebar, writes Conor McKeon.
Paul Conlon and Eamonn Fennell are also nursing ankle knocks today and both were replaced, throwing the state of the McHale Park pitch into question.
Already, Mayo boss John O'Mahony has blamed the uneven, sandy pitch for the broken elbow suffered by Peadar Gardiner and it appears that the patchy playing surface was a factor in the knocks suffered by the three Dubs.
Keaney, however, is the worst of the three and is a doubt for Saturday and the visit of Seamus McEneaney's men to Parnell Park.
The Ballyboden man turned the game in Dublin's favour after his introduction, kicking a point and playing a creator's role in Bernard Brogan's goal, in his first game of the season after successfully recovering from hamstring and quad muscle injuries.
