Punchestown 2015: Mullins' winning streak to continue with Faugheen

The Willie Mullins juggernaut shows no sign of being brought to a standstill going into the fourth day with the two feature races looking likely to go the way of the Carlow handler.

FAUGHEEN (right) is yet another that is very hard to take on with little evidence to suggest that Arctic Fire is capable of reversing Cheltenham places here. That rival also has to put a very heavy fall at Aintree behind him.

NICHOLS CANYON will be a warm order to follow up his easy success in the Mersey Novices Hurdle at Liverpool with viable opposition pretty thin on the ground.

He'd clearly improved again when readily reversing Cheltenham form with Parlour Games there, but may well be subjected to a sterner test from Alpha Des Obeaux than the betting would suggest.

Mouse Morris has his string in fine form and his representative was in the process of posting a career-best effort when coming to grief at the last in Aintree, looking booked for clear second behind the impressive Thistlecrack and he still has more to offer beyond the minimum trip.

The thriving ON THE FRINGE will be looking to complete a hat-trick of big Festival successes after already bagging the Cheltenham and Aintree Foxhunters, though he isn't forced to have things all his own way if the Henry Daly-trained Pearlysteps lines up.

He looked at least as good as ever when scoring at Haydock in February and promises to much better suited to this sort of stamina test than the likes of Warne.
