Alan King is considering Warwick's new £40,000 totesport.com Chase on December 6 for Voy Por Ustedes.

The former champion chaser finished third behind Albertas Run on his seasonal reappearance at Ascot on Saturday, despite putting in a sloppy round of jumping.

Another run in the King George VI Chase against Kauto Star is now less likely but King is keeping his options open.

"He seems fine after the race," said King. "The new race at Warwick is a possibility, we'll have to see how he is. It is only just over a fortnight away but it could easily come into plans if we are happy with him.

"I would think the King George would be on the back burner now. I would like to keep him left-handed if we can but we'll see. He just never got into any rhythm on Saturday, he made a mistake early and he isn't as comfortable going right-handed.

"It was a very good run, don't get me wrong, he came out of the race the best horse at the weights, but his jumping was disappointing and it cost him a lot of ground."

Meanwhile Irish raiders provide two-thirds of the remaining nine possibles in Saturday's eagerly awaited WBX.com Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle.

Charles Byrnes has left in his dual Grade One winner Solwhit, while Noel Meade, who won the race with Harchibald two years ago, re-opposes with Muirhead.

Former champion hurdler Sublimity, second 12 months ago to subsequent champion Punjabi in the rescheduled race at Wetherby, is due to travel over again.

Al Eile, Supreme Novices' Hurdle scorer Go Native and the Sabrina Harty-trained Won In The Dark complete the Irish assault.

The home team is headed by Nicky Henderson's Binocular, third to Punjabi in the Champion Hurdle in March. Malcolm Jefferson, who won the race with Dato Star in 1998, has entered Cape Tribulation.
