Hail glorious Garristown
division 7 final
THE Westmanstown weather was wretched.
It didn't rain. It poured. A different scene in O'Toole Park on Sunday morning.
And what a match Garristown and Naomh Olaf produced. Garristown took the prize. But they had to go to extra-time to do it, 1-4 to 1-1. A thriller.
The crowd loved every second. No parking the bus in Crumlin.
On Saturday Garristown emerged from a Group A that included Clontarf, St James's Gaels and Ballymun Kickhams.
Olaf's advanced from Group B that contained Raheny, St Mary's and the kindly hosts, Westmanstown Gaels.
