PAT GILROY has stuck to his guns and picked the same team that overcame Armagh for Dublin's Croke Park qualifier against the luckless Leinster finalists from Louth.

And this time - unlike last week when Gilroy also announced an unchanged line-up only to make two late changes on match day - the grapevine suggests that the selected 15 will all start at GAA HQ tomorrow (5.0).

In that event, Gilroy will have kept the faith for the first time in a summer initially marked out by drastic selection flux and roller-coaster performances.

Two of the so-called old guard - Barry Cahill and Bryan Cullen - have retained their places at wing-back and wing-forward respectively following their 11th hour promotions last weekend. That means Paul Flynn and Kevin McManamon, who were originally selected last week but started on the bench, are again among the subs; both players delivered scoring cameos against Armagh.

Midfielder Eamonn Fennell, who has trained fully this week following a recent hip problem, is again held in reserve.

The team shows Alan Brogan on the '40' with skipper David Henry at corner-forward, although this experienced duo swopped positions last weekend and a similar switch could well happen again.

DUBLIN (SFC v Louth): S Cluxton; M Fitzsimons, R O'Carroll, P McMahon; K Nolan, G Brennan, B Cahill; R McConnell, MD Macauley; N Corkery, A Brogan, B Cullen; D Henry, E O'Gara, B Brogan.
