There seems to be little value to be had in the Football Championship this weekend and punters will be looking towards the handicap markets if having a bet.

There seems to be little value to be had in the Football Championship this weekend and punters will be looking towards the handicap markets if having a bet.

Dublin are an incredible 1/50 to overturn Jack Sheedy's Division Four league finalists Longford and it's a 17-point handicap before you get to odds against and that is 11/10.

Tipperary -7 at 11/10 and Fermanagh -4 at 1/1 is probably the best bet.

In the Leinster Hurling Championship Galway travel to Croke Park to play Dublin and the boys in blue are just shading favouritism at the moment, possibly rightly so, but don't expect much in this one and a little flutter on a draw at 9/1 might be no harm.
