Stroll down Synge Street for Crokes

Kilmacud Crokes preserved top spot in the Dublin AFL1 table as they defeated Templeogue Synge Street by 0-17 to 0-10 at Silver Park on Saturday evening.

Mark Vaughan and Pat Burke shared nine points for a Crokes team that impressed through the efforts of Ross McGowan, Shane Horan and Alan Egan.

In Shankill, Cuala registered a noteworthy 0-18 to 2-11 win over St Jude's with the dead-ball prowess of goalkeeper Darren Mac Brien crucial in their narrow victory.

Luke Treacy, Jake Malone, Colm Sheanon and Dara Spillane shone for the hosts who claimed the win through points from Ryan Scollard, Niall Carthy and Matthew Clancy with goals by Brendan McManamon and Tom Lahiff proving in vain for the visitors.

There was another home win in Martin Savage Park as St Oliver Plunkett's/Eoghan Ruadh defeated St Sylvester's by 1-17 to 0-11 with Gareth Smith, Padraic Lee, Ross McConnell and Conor Walsh garnering the bulk of the home scores.

In Chanel, goals by Donal Ryan, Gavin Ivory, Sean Swords and David Carroll saw Raheny ease past Parnells by 5-12 to 0-7.
