Farrell given the all-clear
Kilkenny's success in having proposed suspensions overturned continued as Jonjo Farrell was cleared to play against Galway on Sunday.
Farrell was sent off in last week's league defeat to Dublin, although the decision by referee Colm Lyons looked harsh at the time.
Kilkenny challenged the automatic one-match ban that followed but have now had it overturned by the Central Hearings Committee.
Last October, manager Brian Cody had a two-month suspension, for comments he made in relation to referee Barry Kelly's awarding of a last-minute free to Tipperary in the drawn All-Ireland final, quashed.
